Once raw materials are processed into pallet components (deck boards, stringers and blocks) they
are nailed together in one of the six automated, computer assisted
Viking Nailing Machines. Specialty orders of pallets, skids, and crates
are hand nailed to meet customer needs.
Pallets are processed in our heat treatment units to sanitize them for
suitability in export markets. Currently our four heat treatment
chambers and kilns can treat 10-15 truckloads of pallets per day. IPPC requirements are achieved and fully inspected by Timber Products Inspection, Inc. Certified heat treated pallets are a significant service in meeting our customers needs, to adhere to ISPM-15 regulations. Both locations are ISPM-15
certified. Additionally we can kiln dry pallets and treat pallets with
EPA certified chemicals suitable for use in all industries, including
food. This water based chemical is used to prevent and retard the growth of mold
on pallets.
